3 Step Sparring

To be promoted to your next grade, you are required to perform 3-Step Sparring, numbers 5 to 7

Attacking Moves

All the attacking moves are walking stance, middle section obverse punch.

Defensive Moves

5. Right leg back, L-stance, outward moving block 2 times.
Counter: on the third step, slip right foot into a sitting stance, simultaneously block and punch.

6. Right leg back, L-stance, outward knife hand block 2 times.
Counter: on the third step, slip right foot into a sitting stance, simultaneously block and strike (both with knifehand, Sonkal).

7. Right leg back, L-stance, outward moving block (Bakero Makgi) 2 times.
Counter: on third step jump back into right L-stance, forearm guarding block, then front snap kick, double punch.

Stance Weight Ratios

Fixed Stance - 50% front leg, 50% back leg
Vertical Stance - 40% front leg, 60% back leg
